Curriculum Structure
Important note – This is quite an advanced course and assumes that the candidate wants to establish herself as a super specialised in one field she has liked over the past two Levels. This is a participatory course, that is, the student will be expected to do a lot of self study to develop first hand grip and depth of the content.
Module 1 – Orientation & Path Selection
- Understanding the concept of a Vertical (HOTS, GIM, SST, or Clinical Services).
- Mapping personal strengths and interests to vertical choices.
- Identifying scope and market demand for:
- Critical Thinking & Design Thinking (HOTS Expert).
- Parental Workshops, Educational Psychology (SST Expert).
- GIM services – diagnostic, remedial, measurable outcomes.
- Mensa Test Centre / clinical-type services.
- Case studies of successful vertical leaders.
- Assignment: Draft your own “Vertical Selection Statement.”
Module 2 – Deep Knowledge Immersion
- Literature review and research in chosen vertical.
- Global and Indian trends in that domain.
- Benchmarking against top institutions and practitioners.
- Designing advanced tools, tests, or frameworks.
- Workshop: Building your Knowledge Portfolio – resources, readings, and case studies.
Module 3 – Practice Labs (Doing Component)
- Simulation-based labs to apply methods in real/simulated classrooms.
- Micro-projects:
- Conducting a Critical Thinking mini-workshop.
- Running a parent counseling session.
- Designing a GIM-based diagnostic test.
- Setting up a sample Mensa-style test activity.
- Peer and mentor feedback.
- Deliverable: Pilot activity in chosen vertical.
Module 4 – Product & Service Development
- Turning expertise into offerings: workshops, courses, consultancy, services.
- Curriculum design for your own vertical program.
- Designing parental engagement models, diagnostic sheets, improvement plans.
- Packaging your expertise into publishable form: research paper, blog, course outline.
- Assignment: Draft your flagship product/service outline.
Module 5 – Branding & Positioning as Expert
- Personal branding for educators (online & offline).
- Using LinkedIn, Medium, and other platforms for thought leadership.
- Publishing: papers, blogs, YouTube, or workshops.
- Building visibility through networks and collaborations.
- Deliverable: Create your Expert Positioning Dossier (intro video, poster, profile).
Module 6 – Mentorship & Consultancy Skills
- Transition from classroom teacher to trainer/consultant.
- Handling clients (parents, schools, institutions).
- Frameworks for needs assessment and proposal writing.
- Pricing models and ethical guidelines.
- Activity: Mock consultancy pitch in your vertical.
Module 7 – Capstone Project (Doing for Real)
- Independent project in chosen vertical:
- Run a live parental workshop.
- Deliver a Critical Thinking or Design Thinking training.
- Launch a diagnostic & GIM intervention.
- Pilot a Mensa test activity.
- Document process, outcomes, and reflections.
- Presentation to faculty panel & peer group.
Outcomes by End of Course
- Deep authority in one chosen vertical.

- An expert profile with publishable content and visibility strategy.
- Readiness to monetize expertise and step into Course XIV (Individual Franchise Plan).
